There is a food court, cafe, university bookstore, ATM, and a convenience store located in the same building as the convention. Lodging: There are a number of good places to stay in Clemson within two miles of the convention site. All are on Rt 123 at or near the intersection with Rt 76 (Rt 76 takes you from I-85 to Clemson). There will be several events on campus that weekend (sports, etc.), so we urge you to make hotel reservations early. Comfort Inn, 864 653-3600 Hampton Inn (1-800-HAMPTON or 864 653-7744) Ramada Inn (864 654-7501) Days Inn (1-800-329-7466 or 864 653-4411) Sleep Inn (864 653-6000) Lake Hartwell Inn (654-4450, formerly the Holiday Inn) Directions: Clemson is located off I-85 midway between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. It is about 2 hours from either of those cities. To get to the Hendrix Student Center, take I-85 (North or South) to exit #19B (Hwy.76/28 west). Exit toward Clemson. Follow Hwy. 76 West for approximately 12 miles until you see a National Guard Armory and an Army Reserve center on the right. At the reserve center take a left at the traffic light onto Perimeter Road. (If you go under Rt 93 you have missed the turn.) Take the first right onto McMillan Road and you will pass a fire station to your left. After about a quarter mile the student center will be a large cement and brick building on the right. To get to any of the hotels/motels follow Rt 76 as above but instead of turning at the armory stay straight on Rt 76 for about another mile until you get to the intersection with Rt 123. The Ramada, Comfort Inn, and Sleep Inn will be at this intersection (keep to the right). For the Days Inn take a right on Rt 123. For the Hampton Inn, Lake Hartwell Inn, and several restaurants take a left on Rt 123 and go about 1 mile. Warhammer 40k Tournament: The Clemson Gaming Guild will be hosting a Warhammer 40k tournament beginning noon Sunday. DBA Tournament: There will be a DBA tournament sometime Saturday (most likely Saturday morning). Prizes will be awarded.
